Kueteow goreng ala Nurul :)

I worked night shift last night till 1+am .. So today I only need to b in the office for about 3 hours, soI woke up late in the afternoon. Thought of having lunch outside but my ofc girlfriends planned to eat at the canteen, so I decided to cook lunch. Hmm, dah lama tk masak kueteow goreng my bestie recipe :) So here sharing the recipe. Its easy peasy.

Bahan2

1. Koey teow - setengah bungkus
2. Bawang putih - 4-5 ulas
3. Minyak
4. Sos tiram
5. Cili blend (sambal)
6. Kicap manis - cap kipas udang
7. Maggie secukup rasa.
8. Garam
9. Sotong 
10. Udang

Cara2

1. Ketuk bwg putih dlm 4-5 biji
2. Panaskan minyak (jgn byk sgt)
3. Masuk bwg putih bg wangi
4. Masuk masuk sambal. Kalau sambal tu belum masak tumis bg lama sikit.
5. Masukkan udang + sotong (lebih sedap udang/stg drpd ayam), kalau prefer ayam pun boleh ja. 
6. Masukkan garam
7. Masukkan kicap n oyster sauce
8. Then bila semua dah secukup rasa, masukkan koay teow, kucai dan taugeh 

* yg penting kita kena rasa setiap kali masukkan apa2 bhn pun. Kalau nak pekat, biarkan masak lama sikit bg. Kalau prefer berair, tambah air panas.

Hmm hari tu tkdak taugeh and kucai, so gantikan cili merah so that ada coloring skit :)

Gig @ JB & Mosaic Festival , Esplanade Singapore

Last 2 weekends me and hubby went to Johor as hubby had a gig on Sat at JB and a gig on Sunday at Singapore. We arrived at JBat around 12pm. Gig is late in the evening, so rehat2 kt  rumah Naz at around 4pm we puched off to City Plaza JB where the gig was held. Tak masuk tgk pun coz it's a heavy metal gig, it was jammed pack with all kind of weird people :P seriously kalau nk tgk org pelik2, gig mcm ni lah tempatnya. Thought of taking their pictures, tp takut plk kena hambat satgi :P hehehe.anyway juz bayangkan org pakai bj/seluar koyak merata2, rambut color pelik2 as in green/pink, mohawk tinggi bagai, hotpants, dreadlock serabai dan lain2 lagi.  Luckily there are Surya, Zana and Wani so tk lah rasa pelik sgt sorg2 dok kt situ with my hijab on. Kitorang pun lepak kt luar je, tk masuk tgk pun.

On Sunday early morning, hubby woke me up at 610am, and I was ready by 7am and ended up waited for Arab to pick us up til ~8am. pffttt.... rugi 30mins of my sleeping time :P lepas tu kitorang ambik Ipin and Wani then terus gerak ke Tuas r&r for breakfast and then off to Singapore. Their show actually started at 7pm!! And the soundcheckawas at 5pm. I dunno y they wanted to be there so early! duhhh! overexcited. :P Tp tkpela, as long as I have my gfs with me, so I'm fine. We went to the new shopping complex, Marina Square which is just across the road. Saw it on tv and thought it would be a big complex but it's not. It's just a 2 storeys building with normal house brand shops such as Mango, Zara etc2. Price wise almost same as Malaysia so I didn't buy any clothes, Tp disebabkan dh tukar duit so "terpaksa" shop jgk.. hehe.. Beli bracelet which costs $5.99, and love it. We had lunch at Burger King, then at 3pm Surya went back to pick up her lil princess.Wanie and me pun tawaf la complex tu for the 2nd time. :) At around 4pm as we were walking back to Esplanade, kaki cramp lah pulak (jalan byk sgt), jalan jgk la slow2 tp bole lah pulak lost smp ke hotel Marina :P then we headed back to Marina Square and find the 1st route yg Surya bwk kitorang and arrived at Esplanade on time before my hubby's band start soundcheck. Hmm no wonder they are overexcited, it's kinda a big show, I guess biggest one for them kot. There were 2 bands that played on that night, it was the last day of the Mosaic Festival in Singapore and the crowd was quite big. Here are some pics :)

The BIG three zero

Some people say age is just a number. Bg aku itu adalah ayat menyedapkan hati. :) Today is the day where my age finally turns to the BIG three zero. Well, eventho it's not welcomed but it still come, of course if possible I would like to freeze the calendar on 8th Mar...but i don't have the super power. Another decade has passed, what have I achieved so far?

- The most recent occurrence or I could say achievement is that I'm finally married! :) And me and hubby managed to pay everything by ourselves :) not even help from the bank. alhamdulillah.

- Some 'few' years back I got my degree.. :)

- Got a job :)

- Bought my 1st car which I still use now :)

- Bought a house but it's still under construction.

Well, it looks like a short list.....erm.. tp bersyukur la dgn apa yg Allah dah kurniakan. It's never enough for us humans, but the truth is there are more ppl who a suffering on the other side of the world, example the ppl in africa and uganda. last nite i saw a video about kony2012 project in youtube, it really touched my heart and make me realize that I am actually a lucky woman, I live in a peaceful country, I have a husband, families and friends who love me, I have a job, a house to live in, enough money to buy food and sustain my life. Well, what more can I ask for. The rest is depend on our own selves, we have all the sources that we need and we just need to shape our life the way we want it to be. Either to sustain as it is , to be more successful in our career,  to be a better wife, to be a better daughter/son, to be a better sister/bro, to be a better friend and so on.. It all depends on us :)

Anyway, it happened to be International Women Day on 8th Mar, so it was double celebration for me this year. Hubby actually bought me a rose and gave my birthday present on the 8th March :)

In addition to that, he cooked us our dinner :) Macaroni! 

It turns out to be a long entry again. I suppose I should stop now :D

Anyway Happy 30th Birthday to me. I hope I could be a better wife / daughter / sis / friend / hamba Allah. Pray all the good things go my way :)

Birthday Party at Verandah Restaurant, Cyberview Lodge & Spa Resort

Yesterday me & hubby went to Cyberview Lodge and Spa Resort, Cyberjaya for my bestfriend, Nurul niece, Qaisara's 3rd birthday party. Nurul just came back from umrah and I've planned to meet her up before she goes back to Penang, so kebetulan dpt jemputan ke birthday party. boleh la jmpa kt sana terus. 

It was my 1st time being there and I personally love the place. The party was held at the Verandah Restaurant and the food & ambiance are awesome!
