:: Pieces of my life ::: OurWedding

Our wedding reception is finally over, and with it selesai lah sudah secara upacara2 kenduri kendara utk perkahwinan kami. ALHAMDULILLAH. It was held at 1 Malaysia Cultural Village, KL Tower on the 4th Feb 2012 which is last Sat. Such a BIG relief I would say, and those who have gone through the same experience, especially yg kurang mendapat bantuan ramai spt kami ni, msti sgt setuju with my statement. I mean of course parents will be helping physically.. but for us there is no financial support whatsoever from anyone for our wedding prep.. 100% purely our own saving, Of course it was hard for us but actually bila semua dh selesai, both of us rasa bangga sbb dgn duit saving sendiri n without harapkan org lain, we both boleh buat majlis sendiri. Bukan riak, tp bangga dgn usaha kami sendiri. Ramai org ckp, nk grand wedding msti ada byk sponsor, parents kaya, anak dato' bla bla bla...well, it's not actually. Yg penting is yakin dgn diri sendiri, know what you want then plan for it. As for us, we were quite lucky I guess coz we got an affordable wedding package at a non-affordable place - KL Tower....BUT... there's a story behind all of this.Here it goes....

1st part of the story - In search for the best bridal package deal in town.
My cousin used to work at KL Tower for 3 years, then he quit and joined another co. At the new company, he handled several wedding events, and from there he was offered by Orked Bridal to become 1 of their wedding planner. The actual reason is to make use of my cousin to get wedding event tender from KL Tower because my cousin used to work there. At the same time, I was looking for a wedding package and my cousin came to approach me and offered me the package at MAEPS, but I didn't like it due to it's location and the venue as well. Then he offered to us the KL Tower package with discounted price (lessen by 26% from actual price, a lot coz we're counting in thousands of RM saving). At first both of us were hesitant because it is still above our budget as we planned to have the reception in Nov 2011. But it was my cousin who persuaded us till we decided to go for it and thus we postponed our reception date, of coz this is not the only reason, there're some other occurrences happen. So there you go, the 1st part of the story.

2nd part of the story - Preparation for nikah and wedding
We've only met with the Orked Bridal manager during 1st meeting and during deposit payment which is 15K. Masa tu muka and mulut manis bkn main sbb nak duit org. Aftr the deposit paid, next few meetings, dia punya muka pn sula tala nampak. It took us many months for the preparation, for both nikah and reception. 1st thing yg dpt from the pakej is my baju nikah. I bought the material from Maya silk for almost 600 and my baju turn out to be..........RUINED! I was searching and sketching my bj nikah design and even discussed with the designer himself, we even went to his so-called workshop aka rumah kedai kat Puchong juz for that matter. And bila dpt, total different, my design langsung tk sama, the worst part is the full-bead material that is supposed to be the baju, became the kain! Hohooo... seriously mmg time tu naik angin mcm nk makan org, suka hati potong n jahit kain org ikut suka hati dia, I know that he got lotsa order and tk sempat nk siapkan mine, so I think he sent it to other ppl to do it. Seriously kalau terdengar nama tailor CikWan pls pls pls la avoid him. Maybe dia buat baju cantik but only for bigshots...artis2.. org2 mcm aku ni mmg dia akan send kt tailor lain. Ok, 1st thing from the pakej was not GOOD, infact mmg fail terus. Luckily Fasha from Vogue bridal SP bole alter baju tu, eventho tk cukup masa utk letak the peach beads, tp the veil n crown yg bg nmpk cantik that day. And Fasha was my MUA on that day, hasilnya sgt berpuas hati. You can see the pics here

3rd part of the story - The Reception.
Selalunya org akan buat full reheaarsal b4 the real event, full meaning almost like real except for the pengantin not wearing the pengantin attire yet, usually org akan buat la utk big event kan, as for my case, its not done eventhough I have requested a few times. Enough said, as presumed there are a LOT of mistakes happen. Let me start with pelamin. The pelamin is supposed to be 100% fresh flower, eventhough me and Azmal requested for fake flowers sbb nk kurangkan kos, the Orked bridal manager ckp dgn bongkak sekali yg diorg mmg tkkan and tk pernaha guna fake flowers. OK! Then guess what, my pelamin turn out to be 100% fake flowers and tk ikut our theme color which is champagne gold, aftr he has charged us RM9000 just for the pelamin. Yup its a total BULLSHIT. *mau ambik bull punya shit baling kt muka penyangak tu*. Next is food. As per my entry here, we've done the food tasting and the food tasted good. But it's a total different on the reception day. Makanan dihidangkan almost sejam lewat, ada guest yg balik tanpa makan pn. Dalca tak dihantar sampai habis majlis (paling terkilan) alasan tertinggal kt putrajaya n tk cukup lori utk transport-bullshit lg. Ayam masak merah tastes different dan daging masak hitam potong kecik2 supposed to be seketul2 besar. Mmg sgt tk serupa dgn masa foodtasting hr tu. I wish I had taken pics and show you the difference here. Hmm.. Next is the wedding cake, well of course it's pretty and all, but it's all dummy. Yes all of it! So there is no edible wedding cake on that day except for the dummy cake for photography n videography purposes. Next kerusi makan pengantin, kerusi dapuq kt rumah sapa yg depa sebat pn tktau. Alasan dia ala2 kg kena guna kerusi tu, total bullshit lg skali. Next tiket parking utk VIP, the KL tower mgt mmg dh bagi form kt haizal utk bg kt org parking kt situ. but endup he kept em to himself and all of them had to pay by themselves, mgt tu pn bodoh jgk, dh reserve parking tu buat apa nk isi form2 lg, juz waive for 10 parking spaces tu lah! Next is handbouquet, supposedly I was promised by them a bouquet of fresh flowers, tp mintak2 smp sudah tk dpt2. Luckily Fasha has prepared for me and I've used it for both photoshoot and bersanding. Masa sampai kt pelamin tu plk, kipas pengapit and bantal bersanding tkdak, lampu pun tk on... aftr 5 mins si penyangak tu br nk ON. Lg best bekas untuk merenjis tu KOSONG, padahal mak Azmal dah bg barang2 utk merenjis tu kat pekerja diorg. 5 kali MC tu announced nama utk merenjis, nasib baik la 1st names are Azmal's parents and they knew abt the issue at that time, kalau org lain, sure dia blur naik atas suh merenjis tp tkde brg2 tu semua. Next thing yg spoil is lampu, they supposed to switch to lampu kuning, and letak pelita kat jambatan, but there are NONE and the bridge that is supposed to be a beautiful spot for video and photo looked so gloomy and dark. Seriously mmg sayang gila coz kalau setup btul2, that spot would look so exclusive n lovely, it's not a big effort to juz put a few pelita kat situ, and I don't understand why they didn't do it. what a waste! Ok next is lagu. Aku ni brp hari punya dok mengdownload n compile esgala lagu love songs yg aku & azmal suka, finally cd tu langsung depa tk pasang. hangat hati kan. even 2 night before tu tdoq lambat sbb compile cd. Bukan susah pun nak pasang lagu kan, some more I've sorted all the songs in order, tinggal nk bukak music player, pasang cd, turn on speaker tekan play saja kan. OK, tu pun tkleh nk buat. Next thing is plate+fork+spoon. I got to know this from my other cousin. At around 930pm, it's not that late coz the event should be finishing around 1030. They are all served with polystyrene plates and plastic forks and spoons. Pergh masa dgq tu punya la menyirap! Coz no one told me abt this till I met my cousin and his fiance. I mean do they think this is some kind of birthday party whr ppl only eat cakes and candies!! Mcm mana org nk makan ayam + daging with plastic forks and spoons, morons! Haduii... serious, if I knew abt this on that day I would've shout to the caterer time tu jgk! Actually byk lg small2 things yg hpn yg malass dah nk type, overall it was not what we expected it to be.

4th part of the story - Post mortem.
The next day, we met with Haizal to discuss and do the post mortem of the event. The real problem is that the Orked Bridal owner, Azmy is a total CON and BASTARD and PENYANGAK BESAQ. Yup, Haizal got to know this a few months after he joined the company and he even quit after the penyangak didn't pay his salary. He didn't tell me abt this till after the event because maybe he don't want me to worry too much. He did the right thing tho. If not, bertambah panik la aku yg dh sediakala dlm keadaan panik selama bbrp bulan sebelum majlis. Nak2 pulak lasst in tu Haizal p cancel lak jurumekap, kalut cari and most of them dh dibook, mujurlah ada kawan mok yg free, tu pun dia dtg lambat sbb ada client before me. Azmal told Haizal that we will only pay the balance which is just 3K after we get to meet his shithead ex-boss. We just wanted some explanation and kalau boleh want him to reutn back the money that he alrdy took from haizal claiming that he will use it to buy fresh flowers. Dalam usaha mengatur perjumpaan dgn shithead, tk pasai2 dia pulak yg naik hangin tk tentu pasal n ckp that we just want to create a scene sbb nk lari dr bayar the ret of the payment, hey HELLO... mmg patut pun aku tk payah byr dgn semua bnda yg kau dh buat slack tu OK! Not only tk payah byr, but you have to return back our $$! Shithead siap threaten Azmal ckp tunggu lawyer dia... pls la wei...tk takut langsung coz we know that you don't even have the money to hire a lawyer, and we are on the RIGHT side. Siapa yg menipu skrg ni, bkn ke kau yg penipu shithead?! Aku rs ni entry aku yg 1st penuh dgn makian. Sbb dah tk tertahan sgt org2 yg suka menganiaya org ni. And dgn niat org akan ter-bump into my entry ni utk tau yang si azmy from orked bridal ni mmg penyangak besar. Pls avoid him what so ever utk apa2 jenis deal pn. Maybe he hass done pretty well for some events previously, but only if you're some bigshots or artistes. Based on Haizal lg, dh ramai sgt org cari dia sbb nk kutip hutang, and even ada customer yg dh report pasla dia kt jabatan pengguna samapai dia kena byr ganti rugi. I did the report yesterday and hopefully ada feedback from them soon.

Apa2 pun aku harap 1 hari nanti Allah akan membalas segala penganiayaan yg dilakukan oleh dia, amin ya rabbal alamin.

10 Dec 2011 , at 10:32 am sharp, I wasofficially declared as wife to my long-time-bf/fiance Mr Azmal. Moskito :) Alhamdulillah, syukur kepada Ilahi setelah segala rintangan dan dugaan yg diberikan, akhirnya kami selamat diijab kabul. Can't really tell and explain the feeling, only happy tears shown how grateful and thankful we were on that day. We went thru so many difficult moments, almost give up a few times, but ppl always say kalau ada jodoh tk ke mana, and I now truly believe that statement. Now, what we need to do is to adapt to our new lives as hubby and wifey, maintain or even build a stronger relationship, support or a better word is complete each other. Insyaallah.
