Welcome 2010 !

today is the 1st working day in 2010... so new year, having new or still keep the old resolutions? well fr me, i seldom set any resolution coz i know in the end i wont be able to achieve it.. :P some thoughts i had: taking foreign language class, taking music class, gym registration, continue my taekwando class another 1 level for black belt! (hiyaaakk!!) haha.. and none of them was achieved.. :P so as for me, yes i'm still keeping those resolutions, until the time comes...hihihi...

well, last 2 days our company held an annual dinner at sunway convention centre, sbrg jaya... best jgk, but still tk best time registration, what a stupid procedure, dah register 1st day lagi tu, but then on that day, my name, lyn n nurul were not registered in the system.... then tk dapat la msk lucky draw... :( tp kalau masuk pun maybe tk lucky kot :P pas dinner p keroke kt sunway jgk, blk kui 3+ :P then the next day need to go in ofc for startup activities.. serius mengantuk luckily can go back early.. 4 pm dah cabut.. :P balik tdoq, pukui 7 pm bgn dah p penang pulak for lynn's bday eve celebration at tarbush, Batu Feringgi. food and price not bad.. :) so i can say my new year activities byk jgk, skrg ni br nk slow down blk..hehe... wanna get ready for american idol upcoming season!! ( erk, wanna watch or not....since previous idol tu tak best kan...:P )

1 of the must-watch movie in this year.. 3D version is greater i guess..coz 've watched it last weekend :) just that 3D is in small screen.. just go and watch it yourself.. highly recommended.. the cgi is great.. am thinking when can malaysia make such good films.. 10-20-30...years? hmm..

last saturday, nina got engaged dgn jejaka pilihan hati dia, siapa lg kalau bkn jack sparrow...a.k.a Zul...eheheh... meriah jgk la...besala artist... heheh....tp tk lah ramai gila... ok2 la...belah zul 10 keta... so ~60 org kot.. member yg p, aku ngan shikin ja, sbb yg lain tkleh mai..hopefully dpt la kita mkn nasi minyak dia next year... Tahniah Tam a.k.a Nina!! ;)

Weekend activities...& trapped in Bella&Edward's life! :)

last weekend, cuti 4 hari. Wowwweee...i certainly needed that, mmg bosan giler lah skrg ni nak ngadap 'cubical!' arrggghhh....but neway, nk crita pasal weekend activities.. my bro's fmly came bck to sp...dah lama jgk tk jmpa my nephews 2 org tu... adam and aiman....adam dah pandai dh ckp :) debabbbb....geram gila! :) aiman pun dh lain, dh tk sombong lg, murah dgn senyuman...hehee... ok, thursday before went back, tgk Twilight utk kali ke-n..hehee....tk ingt sbb dh byk kali dok tgk.., refresher show lah sbb mmg plan nk tgk new moon during long weekend...pas blk, jumaat tu lepak ja kt rumah...oooh almost frgot.. ada buat ' my-lil-travelling-box' project, to keep all those stuffs from my newly-found hobby - TRAVEL :) box tu starbux nye moon cake, past few yrs from someone :) i keep all those flight tix, entrance tix, coupons, bus tix, small change etc... belum penuh, so boleh pegi lg byk tpt ;-)

then saturday, i ask my bro to give my sis-in-law a holiday (from being a mom...heehhee) ... my bro, without hesitation allow her.. so , pg2 lg dah culik kak ina then went to carnival mall utk watch New Moon... the 1st show 1145am.. pergh awal gila...tp hall almost full jgk... i knew it, kalau mai lbt, fr sure tk dpt langsung seat... pastu , p popular nk cari buku...mcm tk best.. kak ina ajak p borders.. so, kitorg p pulak Qbay...lepak sana...mkn prosperity burger, then p borders...terjerumus dgn kak ina, so i bought the whole set of Twilight Saga books ... plan to buy only eclipse as i can't wait the continuation of new moon's story.. tp at last, tkleh tahan ngan set buku tu.....kerugian lah $300++ ..haha...tkpa la....bkn slalu pun bli buku nih... n later found out that it's not a bad decision at all! i love the books so much! they're such a page turner!!! mmg tkleh gerak p mana bila dah start baca...and i think so far, this is the fastest book i've completed reading! 2 hari, 630 pages!! haha.. skrg ni nk sambung baca Breaking Dawn... the epilogue is also as intriguing as Eclipse.... can't wait fr the movie!!!!

Had a Great time @ Great Wall !!

On saturday me and my girls came back from our amazing trip to Beijing.. seminggu mmg tk cukup.. but luckily most of the 'must-visit' places dah cover...walaupun dgn keadaan serba kelam kabut :P weather wise: as per local ppl, it was the best time to visit Beijing as the weather is not so cold + not much raining.. it was autumn, and a lot of wind... except for the last day there was no sun and drizzly....so it was quite cold in the day, and very very very cold at night... masa tu, dok ingat matahari kt malaysia...personally i'd prefer hot weather than the damn-cold weather.. rasa smp ke tulang rusuk...eventhouh i wore winter jacket and wool shawl to cover my face... tinggal nmpk mata ja... hmm...tp tuhan ja yg tau betapa sejuuuuukkkknyaaa...brrrr... on the next day after we left, the temperature drop to almost -2 degree... so yeah, we were lucky! here are the activities that we've done from day 1..


Day 1:
flight delay from 1:20 to 3am.
arrv in tienjin @ 9:30-ish (6+ hrs naik lenguh pungkok dok dlm flight...hihihi)
chg attire and refresh @ airport

ambik bullet-train ke beijing...mmg bullet sungguh speed 350km/h!
smp beijing terus cari makan....jmpa muslim restaurant dkt dgn tienmin sq... pelahap tk ingt sbb lapaq... :P food so-so, tk best sgt...pricey!

tienmin sq...as per our 'guide' everything is new since the olympic game... so a lot of new building structures..nice! forgot to mention...we carry around our BIG luggage everywhere....smp satu hari dok bwk...mcm nk tercabut bahu aku... smp forbidden city terus cari tpt simpan beg...baru lega!

forbidden city : magnificient historical place! huge area with very well taken care of structures... mmg teruja... entrance: 30yuen ja (rm15) but sadly we'd only spent there for a few hours since they close at 5pm :( tk sempat nk tgk garden and bedroom emperor...
took cab to go to our guide's friend hse... ~ 1hr.. finally boleh rest!


Day 2:

Great Wall.. need no further explanation... breath-taking ....great experience! Sejuk bangat!! entrance : 45yuen



Day 3:
Summer palace - actually tpt ni tk la famous sgt tp disebabkan beijing ni ramai sgt penduduk....kt mana2 tpt pun sure ramai org.. this place is similar to golden temple kt bangkok...but golden temple tu lg menarik kot... the buildings are more beautiful.

entrance : 10yuen

again, today kena tahan lapaq, tour guide tk bg mkn... smp ptg tu we were handed to his friend as he has something to do....lady tour guide....her name is maria... cute and super friendly.. kesian dia smp kena amik 2nd half leave... she brought us to an iranian restaurant RUMI.. food=nice! price=not nice! hehe...

right after hat we went to Hutong where the local ppl believe this is the place where urban and rural culture meets.
shopping2...then went to Hard Rock Cafe, couldnt spend much time as it was quite late already. batery camera pulak habis!! damn... sempat la ambik gbq a few snaps...


Day 4:

Xianshan park: Trees with their yellowish, redish leaves were falling down..lovely!

entrance : 10yuen


then went to beijing zoo....and believe it or not we spent only 1 hr over there...eventho it is one of the biggest zoo , we only went to see pandas! nasib baik la entrance murah:10yuen, tgk panda add another 5yuen... 15yuen dlm RM7... :) pandas, they're SO CUTE! tp tkleh pegang la..so kena la p China lg :P




Day 5:

Last day :( kalau ikut plan, this final day is dedicated for shopping, tp byk lg benda tk buat... 1st we went to Niujie mosque, one of the oldest mosque in the world - >1000yrs.. then we went to Muslim street, there're lotsa muslim restaurant over there...! siap ada food court..and we only knew abt this on the last day... then went to russian street 4 shopping.. it started to rain.. with vr strong wind...we went into a mall... tk tgk pun nama mall ni apa.. then we rushed back to train station, coz we've bought the tix earlier...so we need to catch the train... realized that one whole paperbag of tea is lost! down jgk....got emotional ..ya la bkn sng nk mai lg beli teh kt sini...

we decided to chg the ticket to 9pm, selepas merayu kt tour guide nk p tgk olympic stadium...kalau tk melawat ni, mmg tk complete lah journey kami... in search for taxi, berebut taxi and tour guide pun almost got beaten,we rushed to subway, fast n furious...traffic quite bad due to heavy rain.. and org blk ofc.. reached stadium after ~30mins, it was drizzling...luckily, boleh la jgk snap pix.. pastu try p blk russian street to chk whether tea shop still open, planned to buy again the whole same set in the paperbag.. tp tutup :( went back to train station to catch next train since train 9pm pun dh terlepas.... nasib baik ada lg train pkl 1020pm, but tkleh tukar dah tix sinex dah tukar dah earlier, only allowed 1 time chg.. arrv at airport 11ish... seriously laju gila bullet train...by the time we reached the teperature was 5deg!!!! seriously my 1st time to experience that kinda cold weather..

sleep @ airport, tried vr hrd but couldn't coz sgt sejuk n x comfy...

tour guide got mad coz not enuff sleep...

Last weekend...

cita lama br nk post....hr tu draft title ja... hmm...actually nya nk crita pasal Google fest kt penang... tkleh nk share pics pulak since 'polis2' bangang kt sini dah disable lah pulak usb2 kt laptop....nk kena bli lappy sendiri lah pulak....damnn!!

so, back to the topic, googlefest kt penang... best...dah lama sebenaqnya tk p gig ni... byk gak band... couple, bunkface (tk sempat tgk... :( ), and of course POH.. this is the reason i went there... dpt member baru.. more like a sis... student ITM... dia join bf dia p tgk gig...her name is pawin.. bdk jb... friendly and sweet.. sib baik ada si pawin ni....tkla boring dok tercongok sorang2 kt kerusi...sbb ada org tu p practice lagu pulak..... hmmm..... asyik kena tgl ja... ok... till then...Rock On!

Thn ni beraya mcm biasa.. eventho tokmak da passsed away few months back, I still go to her house to visit my uncle's family who lives there.. aunty Wan masak ayam golek (pergh...mkn tk ingat smp nk tergolek :P ), ayaq asam..(huh...perfect combination), daging msk kicap.. apa lg tk ingt.. mmg sedap... eventho dah full ngan lemang+ketupat.. I could still eat fr 2 rounds.. hehehe.. mmg cun tk terkata.. ;-)
ok.. tu 1st raya.. 2nd raya p penang.. ni pun spt biasa gak.. umah amiman akan buat open hse lunch time.. mkn nasi beriani.. hmm... cun jgk.. but not able to go for 2 rounds.. dah full ngan kuih raya.. :)
3rd raya it's time to be the host..relative from mom's side came to our hse.. mama msk mee goreng.. before they came, I went to Tam's hse fr lunch with Kin....open hse lg....
4th raya.. still the host.. relative from dad's side came before they go back to kl.. mom cooked mee kuah...sedap kot, smp licin habis... aku pun tk sempat rasa.. hmm...tkpa2... nnt suh mama buat lg :) on this day, mmg dah plan awal2 ngan lyn+nurul... susun umah nk p beraya....first we started with nurul's....konon nk p bfast...last2 smp ~12 haha...jd brunch la.. nurul jamu nasi impit+kuah kcg+serunding+bihun goreng+kek+teh tarik spesel... :) next stop is lyn's... lyn ambik catering nasik...pastu ada ketupat+rendang+kerepekss+cheese cake... next is my hse.. mama msk mee kuah, then I bought ketupat+rendangTok from kakYam...free lemang comes with it :) kek sarawak+kuih raya+muruku+bahulu+kuih raya.. shima+tunang dia pun mai jgk frm lyn's hse.. stop ni plg lama coz the last one.. diorg lepak from 5 till 8-ish .. hehe.. but aftr all, we had lotsa fun.. ;-) mama excited sbb bwk foreigner mai rumah... foreigner tu pun satu lg punya seronok sakan enjoying the new culture.. ;)
