So, here's my mom's simple recipe

Ingredients

BahanA utk tumis:-
Bwg merah -3 biji
Bawang putih -1 ulas
Bunga lawang -1
Kayu manis -1
Bunga cengkih -2
Buah pelaga -2

Butter / planta pun bole
Tomato -1
Ubi kentang -1
Carrot -1/2
Ayam - 5 ketul

How to
--------
1. Panaskan butter dlm periuk.
2. Tumis semua bahan2 A
3. Masukkan ayam
4. Masukkan ubi
5. Masukkan carrot
6. Once bahan2 atas dh empuk dan lembut, masukkan tomato (last)
7. Masukkan garam / chicken stok secukup rasa.

Sedap makan panas2 dgn nasik kosong dan telur dadar!

How to become a well-known person

My work is mainly supporting the automation system in Dallas. Once development is done, I need to test and release at their side, remotely. That's why most of the time I need to work late nights.

Lately I've been trying to complete all the backlogs projects in my long project queue list. 3 passed down projects by my ex-colleagues (cukup tk suka nk kena sambung keja org lain) 2 ADF projects, 1 new ADF project. Most of the projects are in the midst of releasing and near to completion. Do you know what happen to your brain when you have more than 3 projects at a time? If the brain can speak, it will scream. If the brain is a bomb, it will explode. If the brain is a car, it will crash! There was 1 week that I've worked day and night and slept only a few hours just because to commit to !@#$@#% datelines.

I know it does not relate to the post title yet so far. But here is how I became a famous / visible / well-known person in US. Amarika you knows! Well, I know this from the project update session with my boss this evening. This is his exact dialogue:

"Ana, you're now more visible to the Dallas team" ujar boss ku sambil tersengih.

It took me a few minutes to compute and understand the real meaning of the message.

When I finally got it.. "It's good to be a famous person. Even though a famous trouble maker." I laughed and he did too.

Yup I know I've been creating a lot of issues lately that basically ruined the Dallas engineers day. Those issues happened when I was sleeping apparently.

Apart from the joke, I took the courtesy to apologize “I’m sorry, I know it was my bad. I will definitely be more cautious and careful and mindful next time” while trying to flash a heart-melting smile. 

“Issue is a thing but I think your name came up in the project release notification more frequent now, so they recognize you” ok la tu, nk bg sedap hati aku. 

So that’s my story of how I suddenly became a well-known person in my company at US.

Luckily I got a cool boss that could bear with all the trouble I’ve done so far including spilling a whole cup of hot oldtown coffee over my laptop and the only thing that survived was the HDD. And it also happened only recently -___-‘ sorry boss. I am 1 careless person, I knoooowww.

An ideal Wed evening

My Visa application? Oh I failed for 2 times. Yeah you read it right. TWO times. Apparently the embassy has tighten the rules to approve for the B1/B2 visa category (business and travel ). After the 1st time it was rejected I've told the boss not to try for the same category again but they wouldn't listen. They insist on trying again because all my friends who went for OJT previously applied for the same category and they passed. So yeah I went for the 2nd time...and as predicted both me and Kumi failed to get the visa. Kumi even got the same interviewer and he even said "Hey I saw u last 2 weeks" and then passed her applciation form to the other interviewer.. hmmm... ok at least I will not be bonded for a year here? Resume update soon mayb? ahaha..

Yesterday was an ideal Wed evening, right after I've completed the Japanese Beginner I level :) I even scored A for the exam. Hehe. I was so nervous the whole day trying to memorize those hiragana and the vocabs! Phew! Luckily I passed. And to celebrate it, I asked hubby to accompany me to the newly opened H&M store that everyone is currently talking about since its grand opening day. The store is located at Lot10 which is just a few meters away from Fahrenheit88 where my language class is. We went there at 9+ and I presumed it wouldn't be crowded since it was almost closed, BUT I was wrong. The queue was long for both cash counters and fitting rooms. Hmm..I didnt queue up for fitting until the line was short. Hehe drp tunggu lama2 dlm line baik aku cuci mata dlu. Mata berpinar tgk all those pretty yet affordable cloths! I only managed to catch a blouse and a loop scarf. And hubby got a pair of pants. H&M is definitely my favorite new store! :) 

Lepas gila bershopping, we went to try the samurai burger that everyone (hmm well not everyone but many ppl I guess :D ) is currently talking about too. Not bad, I actually like it! Samurai baga - oishi desu! :)

Zalora sucks

Successfully placed order, waited impatiently for it...Few weeks later...Order has been cleared from the system and item is out of stock! "Well done" Zalora! No wonder Jovian is moving to ThePoplook which serves the best online shopping experience so far!

Those are my feelings nowadays....

Going to US most probably happen in my wildest dream so far. But it's gonna be reality in 3 weeks time,if my visa application interview scheduled this Thurs is passed. Ok, it's not as easy as it sounds. I've gone through so much hasslessss... Kalau bukan sbb nak p training, mmg jgn harap la nk semua bnda ni, baik aku melawat negara asia and europe yg tk payah mengada2 nk buat visa nih....

Apa yg aku buat/lalui?

1. Fill in application form for AMEX and send to HR - apparently in this co, the HR ppl doesn't know how to fill in the form for the employee!
2. Ambik gbq passport, visa
3. Buat passport tunggu 5 jam kt imigresen
4. Print MRV form for Visa deposit slip
5. Went to Standard Chartered for payment
6. Create online visa applicant profile
7. Fill in the so-many-questions D160 form.
8. Wait for 1 day to schedule the interview.
9. Schedule the interview - suddenly realize the passport number in my online profile is wrong. Tried to contact the support team to change it! Dah la call asyik dpt ckp ngan machine, nasib baik bole chat, tu pun tunggu lama! fuhh..
10. Interview this Thurs - harap pass la. kalau tak kena ulang buat bnda yg sama kena byq blk!! 
11. Warm clothing application form pun belum hantaq. 
12. Amex belum dapat
13. Dah dapat Amex kena bgtau kt travel agent utk book flight. 

Preparation rohani dan jasmani nak p. Luggage pn tkdak ni.  Itinerary untuk final 1 week untuk berjimba di LA pn belum buat. So macam mana aku tk senak peghut? tak ghosot? hmmm... sbb semua ni lah.

Concerto

As I go through the concert schedule at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal CityWalk, my eyes went bigger when I see this band name - "The Smashing Pumpkins". It's 1 of the band that I adore since I was a kid! But the date...it's mid of Oct and I will still be in Dallas at that time. I wish they will postpone it to another 2 weeks! Pls pls plssssss.....

If it's not possible, well I guess I need to keep on looking for other bands that might be playing somewhere around end of Oct.

Passport renewal process / Proses memperbaharui paspot - Malaysia

While writing this, I'm still at the immigration office at Sri Rampai, Wangsamaju. Selama ni asyik dgr org ckp "renew passport cepat ja... Tk smp 2jam dh siap" and i'm already here waiting for my no to be called since 3 hours ago. Huhuuu... Ramai umat manusia smp nak ambik no giliran pn kena beratur smp 20mins.

I've tried to use the smart kiosk but it can't read my IC. -_-'

Anyway if you want to use the kiosk you need to bring along:
1. Old passport
2. Original IC
3. Photocopy of IC
4. 2 pieces of your recent passport photo. And the photo must comply to these rules:
- baju / tudung tak bole color biru
- tk bole pakai contact lens color
- tk bole pakai cap / kopiah / glasses dn sbgnya
- rambut tk bole menutupi mata dan muka

5. And of coz, money $$$

Kalau nak renew kat kaunter, u must have all of the mentioned items except for photocopy of IC.

Sebelum ambil no giliran make sure you fill in the "borang permohonan paspot", if not they will not give you the no.

1 thing I notice while I'm here, obviously jab imigresen need a bigger screen or the no giliran display: currently only 2 numbers can b displayed. It makes the idling counters to wait for the number that they pressed to appear and being called. From my observation, it takes almost 1 min for the next person to be at the counter. Tu tk termasuk lg kalau org tu mat ngot and lembab n catwalk nk jln p kat kaunter tu. And the numbers are not only for renewal and new passport. It also being used by the cashier counter and also kaunter serahan. Nasib baik la machine yg dok panggil no ni, kalau manusia jenuh tekeluaq anak tekak dok sebut no.


Oh well, after 3+ hours of waiting, ada lagi 40 org. Tu belum lg ke kauter bayaran dan serahan. Pukui brp aku bole masuk ofc pn tktau la... :'(
